Business Cards for my aunty

I've been designing a business card design for my aunty who lives and works in France. She asked for her flowery Doc Marten's to be the main feature, so I have used them along with Poppies as these are very French (to me anyway!) I may include some other ideas, such as Kerrier the dog as he goes along to work to sometimes!
Not sure about colour yet and whether they need it, but here's my first few designs anyway!

Girly themed baby book...

My friend Holly had a beautiful baby girl a couple of weeks ago, so I decided to make a little keepsake gift for her. I ordered these amazing blank board books from Amazon which are perfect for creating your own little books!
I used permenant ink and colouring pencils, so it's not suitable to be used as a baby book, but more like something you can pop up on the shelf for when the child is a little older!
(Not sure it would survive dribble and grubby mittens!)

Brightening up an envelope!

On the back of a very plain white envelope I cut out some hearts using tissue paper and simple stuck them randomly on the envelope using sellotape!
I think it looks much more fun than white!

WoW!

What a totally wonderful idea! Definitely got to buy one of these for the next pressie I need to buy!
Might try and make up my own one to pop in my kitchen as it's such a simple but AMAZING idea!
I found it on Papergrains blog.....thank you!

buttons

Without a camera currently I had the idea of using the webcam to take pics of my new buttons....not the greatest quality but needed to show that I have been being creative recently!

summer daze....

Stumbled upon some of my old sunny images, perfect for this sunny day! Fantastic memories....x

Digital dilemma....

I have made lots of new buttons (in preparation for my stall!) and was hoping to get them on here for you to have a sneak peak, but remembered the screen broke on my camera whilst in France.
This means, that even though my camera still works I seem to have gotten so used to taking pictures using the screen (and checking the image afterwards!) that I feel slightly stumped by this!!
Also, my other dilemma is that the night the screen smashed I switched it to b+w (adamant I am more photogenic in b+w!) but now can't change it back...... :/

Perhaps it's time I treated myself to a new camera...oh yes please!
My little nephew Tom however, suggested I fix it with sellotape! This seems to work for him....he used sellotape to fix the hole in his sock the other day....!!
It might be worth a try.......
