Wedding Map Details

With each map I create I try to include as much detail as the customer requires, to enable as much information within the design. This can include a colour scheme, flowers, a drawing of the venue or church, local landmarks or subjects and the date, names and postcode of evening venue. I am happy to make the image full and busy or neat and simple depending on the wedding theme.
Here are some close ups of detail within the maps I have created so far, to give you an idea of how I go about creating a piece.

Newest Wedding Map :)

This will be the 3rd official map I have created for a wedding now, with the idea of the map to be placed inside the wedding invites for guests to use as means of finding their way to the church/venue/reception.....and to take home as a keep sake of the couples special day.
I am planning on setting up a website in the new year for my Wedding Map Designs as I hope to create more for couples who are planning their big day.

Falmouth Christmas Festival!

I will be holding a stall at the magnificent Falmouth Christmas Festival this year on Events Square.

December 15th - 18th

Come along and join in the festivities the weekend before Christmas......
Local crafts, food and Christmas fun!

*NEW* Button Cards!

A slight take on the buttons I have been creating, nice for a change (especially when making 6 of each - only one of each for these!) I have so far designed 'Merry Christmas' and 'Thank You' cards, but more in the making for when the Christmas season is up :)

Currently being sold at Crowan Crafts in Crowan, Cornwall.

Each card is a mini card, with envelope in a cellophane package.

A Homemade Christmas Advent Calendar.....

My niece Elsie is now 2 and a half....old enough to join her big brother in having an advent calendar to count down the days to Christmas! Seeing as though I made Toms advent calendar it was only fair I made her one too....here are the results: (think I may be making some of these to sell for next year!?!)

A blast from the past :)

Me, my dad, my mum, my big sister, my grandad and my great grandad! :)

The Nutcracker Ballet

Last weekend me and my sisters were treated by our mum to watch The Nutcracker, performed by the Moscow Ballet. It was beautiful, and made me want to dance again. I was a ballerina for 14 years and watching the dancers really made me wish I'd continued!

I decided whilst watching the performance that I need to put pointe ballet shoes on my Christmas wish list!

I just dug out some prints I created at university, inspired by my love for ballet, I must get these framed and hung up :)
