*new* buttons for sale.......

......at my lovely little Etsy shop!

I did succeed in making some buttons over the weekend....unfortunately not as many as I'd hoped as the weather was glorious so I spent a lot of time outside! I did try being outside and making buttons but it didn't go as well as hoped!
So here's a few....more to come (I am on a bit of a roll now - going to work really does get in the way!)

buttons, buttons, and more buttons......

I am on a personal mission at the moment to make as many buttons as is possible! Fitting in going to work, making sure the house is tidy, spending time with all my important people and sleeping(!)

I recently volunteered (was volunteered!) to make a flag....it's a long story so I won't go into detail but I have been spending a good few days creating that....and not finding any time for button making :(
BUT now I am back to my normal routine, so next time I blog (hopefully) I should have plenty of fun, unusual buttons for you to feast your eyes upon!! (and they will be for sale at my Etsy shop)

So this flag is designed around bluebells, forget me nots and the spring time.....I had to design it, and stitch it all together, but someone else will finish it off...phew!
Although time consuming, it was pretty fun to do, and it reminded me how much fun it is to use bondaweb! Might have to get back into my textiles and stitching again, even if it means falling out with my sewing machine every so often!!

*New* Childrens Name Plaques!

*New* Childrens Name Plaques!

I started this project by helping out a friend who wanted two name plaques made for her little nieces...she wanted pretty , girly themed plaques so I set about creating some illustrations I would have loved if I was little again!
One had budgies and flowers on, the other had a blue tit with flowers. Both were very pink, and very pretty! (I will upload the images here soon - unfortunately they're on someone elses camera!)

After the success of these, I decided it would be silly not to pursue this idea, as I thoroughly enjoyed creating them, and they make the perfect gift for children!

I have since made three more (one for my nephew, my niece and a friends niece!)

VERY SOON these will be available at my Etsy shop - I am more than happy to take special orders for these too, if you have a particular theme in mind!
My current themes are: Fairy/Butterflies, Farmyard, Woodland and Birds/Flowers.

I'm on Etsy!

I have finally set myself up with an etsy account.....with so far a whole 3 items for sale!!
The hold up on this was that I have never had a credit card ever, and to set up an account you needed one so now I am the begrudging owner of a credit card(!) but the very proud and happy owner of my own little Etsy shop!

I will be adding my items onto Etsy gradually, as I want the photography to be just right for each piece!
I have a selection of creative lovliness in my little shop, from cards to buttons, paintings to name plaques and more.....

I also wanted to explain that recently my blog hasn't allowed me to add links properly or upload images very well.
I think it might be to do with the computer I am on, so hopefully I will get that sorted as I have been finding it really difficult to add links etc.
Please bear with me as I am still teaching myself how to create this blog, so when technology is not on my side it doesn't make the process much easier!!
